Sherri Lambeth graduated from Eastern Carolina University in 1995 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development and Family Relaons. She is also a cerfied Infant‐Toddler Family Specialist.
In 2014, Sherri was selected to serve as Supporng School Readiness Coordinator for Project Enlightenment, an early intervenon and childhood educaon program of the Wake County Public School System. During this me, Sherri provided direct services to families in the “Geng Ready for Kindergarten” program, as well as ensured that curriculum implementaon was developmentally appropriate for all learning styles.
Prior to program management, Sherri served as a Supporng School Readiness Specialist for Project Enlightenment for 8 years. In this role, Sherri provided technical assistance for childcare centers, as well as coordinaon of teacher workshops and summer enrichment programs. Sherri was also honored to serve as a lead classroom teacher and Assistant Director at Thomas‐Anne Children’s Center from 1996‐2005.
A highly movated and sought aer educator with 22+ years of early childhood educaon experience, Sherri’s commitment to children and families enables her to tailor services to the unique needs of each child through thoughul observaon and meaningful engagement. Her understanding of how early intervenon and school systems operate make her an invaluable asset to any family interested in ensuring their child is developmentally, socially, and cognively ready for Kindergarten.
