Allison
Blomquist graduated from The University of North Carolina in Greensboro in 2001
with a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. She has over 10 years of experience
practicing speech therapy in a variety of settings, including outpatient and
school.
Allison
particularly enjoys working with children.
Her experience in the school system makes her quite adept in working
with children and families on child readiness as they enter the public school
system. She has been a speech therapist for Guilford
County Schools since 2001 and has worked with countless families to achieve
positive speech therapy outcomes over the course of her career.
As
an Early Intervention Provider with KidSprout, Allison’s primary focus is
collaborating with a child’s care team to ensure that caregivers are an active
part of a child’s success in all areas of development, but particularly
communication and cognition.
