Cherie Fredericks, OTR/L
Cherie received her Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Western Michigan University.  She has been a practicing Occupational Therapy for 20 years and carries licensure in North Carolina and Georgia.  Cherie has a passion for working with children in the areas of sensory processing disorders, autism, gross and fine motor deficiencies, as well as developmental delays.

Cherie’s therapy objectives are solidly focused on the integration of caregivers in all aspects of service delivery.  She prides herself on collaborating with families to incorporate home programs into therapy outcomes and promote a team atmosphere for the families she serves. 


During her career, Cherie has worked with patients in various specialties, including orthopedics, neurology, and cognition.  Her goal for all children she works with is achievement of independence, as well as an increased sense of self confidence and wellbeing.    


Cherie has warmth and compassion that allows for easy communication and an at-ease feeling. She is a strong advocate for children and their families.  She has vast knowledge of the public school systems and can assist caregivers in transitioning when the time arises.  Cherie is a wonderful asset to our community!
