Baian Baianonie, M. Ed, ITFS

Baian has a Masters of Science Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and Education. During her education, she  received extensive hands-on training in providing therapy sessions and working with children with special needs and Autism. She’s worked and trained in therapy clinics and in-home programs that serve children with a broad range of special needs. As a therapist, her motivation comes from research and science that focuses on early childhood brain development. During the critical first few years of life, safe, stable, and nurturing relationships are critical to healthy brain development. The advancement of optimal early brain and childhood development is essential for the health and well-being of children.


Baian’s therapy sessions are progress oriented and play based; tailoring sessions to the client’s unique demands and goals. Sessions combine different areas of development , including social, communication, cognitive, emotional, gross-motor, and fine-motor skills. During therapy sessions, Baian implements developmental therapy combined with ABA to acquire prerequisite learning skills and new developmental skills, all while managing problem behavior with replacement of new appropriate behaviors.

Baian believes that parents are an integral part of a successful experience in therapy, IFSP goals, and outcomes in early intervention. She gains parent’s perspective regarding their child’s unique situation and tailors therapy sessions to accommodate fragile children. Parent coaching is ongoing and is also an important part the Early       Intervention process.


In addition to her passion and dedication to Early Intervention, Baian volunteers in many different therapy centers and continues to receive on-going training and workshops in the field. She is bilingual and culturally sensitive. She prides herself on her commitment to serve children with a broad range of special needs.
