Alison Britt, MA, ITFS

Alison Britt graduated from Columbia University in New York in 1998 with a Master of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Special Education. She has 17+ years of experience working with infants and toddlers. She holds teaching certificates in 3 states, and she is an active member of the National Association for Young Children.

Alison began her career in educator in the public school system, but shortly afterwards transitioned to working with children in their natural environment through the Early intervention Program. It was in this setting that her passion was truly discovered.

As a certified special instructor, Alison’s role is assessing and treating cognitive, emotional, social, and gross and fine motor development.   She has experience and is comfortable with prematurity and children who are medically fragile. One of Alison’s top priorities is collaboration with a child’s family and care team. She believes that children thrive in an environment that is inclusive of familial support, and she works diligently on her therapy sessions to include family members and caregivers in all therapy objectives.

A resident of Orange County, Alison enjoys her running group with girlfriends, the theater, film festivals, and spending time with her husband and three children.
